Class 8 visit to St Mary's Chrurch

Lesson: Religious education

Class: Team 8 Year: 2012 - 2013

On Thursday 7th December 2012 we walked in the cold, snowy weather to St Mary’s church.

Class 8 were welcomed by Reverend Matthews and three lovely helpers. We learned all about how and why Christians celebrate Christmas and what this special time of year means. We completed six activities and learned in detail about what each one represented.

Thank you to Reverend Matthews for allowing us to come. We really enjoyed this visit to complete our RE unit on Christianity.
