Farm to Fork Project

Lesson: Science

Class: Team 5 Year: 2011 - 2012

On 12th March 2012, class 5 went on a trip to Adlingfleet Grange farm in Goole, Yorkshire.

During the day, the children spent some time learning where their food comes from and how ingredients that are grown on the farm can be used to make healthy food they eat every day.

The children also spent some time making a pizza using some of the ingredients found on the farm.

Class 5 would like to say a big thank you to Linda and Rebecca at the farm who made sure the day ran smoothly and also gave us some strawberry plants and seeds for us to grow back at school.

The children coped very well with a long coach journey and their behaviour was excellent so well done and thank you to the parents and carers that joined us too.
