Vision and Values
Our Vision

At Charlestown, we want to create a learning environment that nurtures everyone towards success - building resilience and responsibility for all without prejudice or excuses.
Just like the willow tree symbolised on the Charlestown logo above, we want your children to grow strong roots in both their learning & community and have a long reach into the wider world.
'Strong roots, long branches'.
In holding true to this idea, we know that your children will not only impact the community they live and learn in but the wider world also.
We use the values below to structure our daily lives at school and encourage & praise the progress of children personally, socially and academically.
Our Values

We have also adopted the Manchester bee around school to reflect our commitment to hard work, the importance of resilience and working together. It is also our belief that children should develop and embrace a strong sense of community identity and the Manchester bee aptly represents the wonderful sense of character and unity that this wonderful city has. We want children to be proud of Manchester and their local community.
